A popular falconry club that holds monthly meetings year-round and organises a variety of field meets, providing ample opportunities for members to connect and share their love of the sport.
Formed through the merger of two long-established clubs, the club continues to honor its rich heritage while fostering a strong, united falconry community in the north west.
As a member of the Hawk Board, the club is committed to promoting best practices in falconry and advancing the interests of the sport.
Potential new members are always welcome at the monthly meetings and to spectate at field meets. The club is open to all who are interested in learning more about falconry.

Monthly Meetings

The club meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 8pm. As well as discussing club business, the meetings provide a relaxed opportunity for members to socialise, discuss falconry topics, and seek advice. Attendance is free for members, and non-members are welcome to attend up to two meetings before joining.
To support club funds, meetings sometimes feature a raffle.

Some sessions also include guest speakers, with past topics ranging from gamehawking and gundogs in falconry to expert advice from the Independent Bird Register.

Field Meetings

The club organises a range of field meets throughout the season, catering to both longwings and shortwings. These events are open to all members and are generously subsidised by the club, with a nominal fee of just £35 per person. Depending on numbers, members are also welcome to spectate free of charge.

Our meetings are informal and relaxed, filled with friendly banter, exciting sport, and a great sense of camaraderie. Everyone is supportive, making it a welcoming environment for both seasoned falconers and newcomers alike.

Membership Benefits

Membership costs £30 per year and members must be fully paid up by the May meeting to retain their membership. Please note, there is no reduction for partial-year memberships.
